About Gosnells Community Lotteries House

Lotteries Houses in WA

Gosnells Community Lotteries House is a proud member of the wider network of Lotteries Houses within Western Australia.

Some Lotteries Houses cater for similar or like-minded not-for-profit organisations; such as the Niche Lotteries House in Nedlands, which houses organisations involved in the delivery of services related to neurological diseases. Others, such as Gosnells Community Lotteries House, have a broad range of NFP tenants, making each Lotteries House in WA an entirely unique community service-based organisation.

History of Lotteries Houses & GCLH

The first Lotteries House was established by the Lotteries Commission of WA on Stirling Street in Perth in 1988, with the aim of providing not-for-profit organisations access to affordable office space in the Perth CBD.

The initiative was so popular that the Lotteries Commission soon began looking to replicate its success in other WA community hubs. By the mid-’90s, Lotteries Houses were established all over the State.

After collaboration and intense planning between City of Gosnells and Lotterywest and generous funding by Lotterywest to contribute to construction costs, the Agonis building was opened in 2005 with part of the building being reserved for Gosnells Community Lotteries House. The Agonis also houses the Business Incubator, City of Gosnells Library and the Lyle Richardson Hall.

In the nearly 20 years since, Gosnells Lotteries House has gone from strength to strength. The building has evolved and changed to meet the needs of the community and Not for Profit organisations. With exceptional Management and a focus on collaborative and positive relationships with our tenants and Management Committee, GCLH has become an outstanding example of success for the Lotteryhouse model and has a beating heart and energy that would be difficult to match in other large buildings. Accommodation at Gosnells Lotteries House offers exceptional value for money and is in high demand. Occupancy is currently at 100% which has been maintained for several years. Our organisations within the building offer diverse and life improving services that targets the many important situations and scenarios that can affect families, individuals and the community. We welcome you to find out more about these services by visiting the Tenant Directory.
